The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009

ARRA calls for “…aggressive and effective education improvement and reform in order to drive our nation’s long-term economic well being.”  This unprecedented opportunity provides significant funds to states and school districts to turn around failing schools, embrace innovative new learning models, strengthen standards and assessments, and build robust student data systems.  RMC Research has more than 30 years of experience in applying research-based strategies to help clients meet similar challenges.

ARRA funds are available through a number of existing funding streams, including Title I Part A, Title I 1003(g) Funds, and IDEA, as well as opportunities for innovative approaches by state partnerships through the “Race to the Top” fund.

Listed below are some specific areas of RMC Arlington’s expertise in providing support to state and school district efforts to improve student learning.
